Brendan is a highly pragmatic and strategic thinker, intuitively understanding how digital media can be used to add value to clients businesses. He draws from experience yet keeps his thinking fresh by staying up to date in the latest digital trends from around the globe.
Brendan holds a BCA from Victoria University, majoring in eCommerce and Management, and a Diploma of Internet Technology from Natcoll Design School. He also used to have a level 70 Mage in World of Warcraft — directly responsible for his pale complexion.

He eats all the pick n’ mix lollies as well. All of them.

Case Studies

Media Insights Prove Invaluable

Previously Temperzone, manufacturers of commercial air conditioning units, had just used radio advertising for its national consumer ad campaign for its Hitachi brand Heat Pumps.

Super  commissioned media research which discovered an extremely high usage of digital media by the target customer, homeowners 25-54.

The resulting insights confirmed a heavy digital schedule including Search, GDN , stuff.co.nz and Facebook.

This strategy resulted in an increase in the sell through to retailers who were impressed with the contemporary media schedule.

Bringing People & Personality into new Engineering Website

Auckland’s KCL Engineering commissioned Super to produce a new, contemporary website to help promote the businesses speciality in seismic constraints and building products. The client had a tight budget and even tighter turn around for the task.

Super looked at other similar sized engineering firms to discover a total lack of any personality or warmth around their brands and decided Engineers, just like everyone else, responded positively to people first. We put the staff at KCL at the front of our planning and produced a new website that gave life and colour to thebrand.

KCL owner Alistair Knowles commented, “Super produced a site for us that made our people the heroes. As engineers we don’t tend to talk about ourselves, but by bringing our people onto the site Super created a fantastic digital platform for us, that our clients have really responded favourably too.”
